Rotary Club of Thane East is proud host of District Assembly 2009, the largest training program in the Rotary calendar year. The event is scheduled on Sunday, 12th April, 2009 at Hotel Tip Top Plaza, L.B.S. Marg, Thane West.

As very aptly & significantly emphasized by RIPE John Kenny during recently concluded International Assembly at San Diego that as Rotarians it’s in our hands to determine & shape up the Future of Rotary, and for that every club must be autonomous.

District Assembly 2009 is that vital opportunity for all the club leaders to hone their skills & expertise to make their clubs more cohesive & autonomous. Transform Yourself is the unique theme decided for DA 09 as apart from interacting with DGE Raju’s core team, DA 09 will also provide a platform to develop lifelong friendships & service partnerships with other Rotarians & Rotary clubs for the benefit of mutual communities.
