Glorious Past of Rotary Club of Thane East

Rotary Club Of Thane East (RCTE) is affiliated to Rotary International, which is one of the largest social service organizations in the world. Rotary Club of Thane East was formed way back in 1981, and celebrated its Silver Jubilee Year of existince last year. The club was formed by group of socially dedicated persons comprising of several professionals, industrialists and businessmen, who all had a common desire and intensity to work for upliftment of the poor class, women, students and other medically, economically and lesser privileged persons. Their endeavour was to spare some effort and time, for service of the society. The members of the club are achievers and leaders in their respective fields and include some personalities that are known beyond local regions.

The objective of RCTE is to identify the local problems in the area of health, education, environment and create a base to provide facilities of Vocational Training eliminating Poverty and many such issues pertaining to locality of Thane East.

The Rotary club has rendered selfless service throughout its twenty-five years of existence and spared no efforts to uplift the poor, economically weaker class, students and the underprivileged, with the support and guidance of all the Rotary Members.
